Camera compatibility

Murlet works with any camera that speaks RTSP and streams H.264 or H.265, which covers most IP cameras. Most also answer ONVIF discovery, so Murlet finds them on your network for you; the rest you add by RTSP URL.

Ring, Nest, Blink, and recent Wyze cameras don't speak RTSP: their video goes straight to the cloud, so Murlet can't record them.

The cameras below record around the clock on our own network.
