Wyze Cam v3

We can't recommend this one: enabling RTSP frequently failed for us with an "RTSP credentials failed to save" error. It took many attempts to get it to work.

Updating the firmware

  1. In the Wyze app, open the camera and tap the settings icon at the top right.
  2. Tap Device Info, then Firmware Version, then Update.

Turning on RTSP

  1. Back in settings, tap Advanced Settings, then RTSP, then Set Up.
  2. Set a username and password.
  3. Choose "No, Turn Off RTSPS" and accept the "Security Warning for turning off RTSPS".
