Setting a password

RTSP uses the camera's own admin account, created in the app when first setting up the camera.

Turning on RTSP

RTSP is off by default; turn it on before adding the camera to Murlet.

  1. In the Reolink app, open the camera and tap the settings icon at the top right.
  2. Tap the camera image at the top to open Device Info.
  3. Tap Advanced Network Settings, then Server Settings, and turn RTSP on.

Choosing a resolution

The stream URL stays the same whichever resolution you pick.

  1. In the Reolink app, open the camera and tap the settings icon at the top right.
  2. Tap Display, then Stream, then Clear, then Resolution.

Choosing a codec

The camera can encode H.264 or H.265, picked in the same Clear stream settings as the resolution above. The h264 in the stream path is cosmetic: the camera answers on both h264Preview_01_main and h265Preview_01_main for whatever codec is chosen.
