Setting a password
RTSP uses the camera's own admin account, created in the app when first
setting up the camera.
Turning on RTSP and ONVIF
Both are off by default; turn them on before adding the camera to Murlet.
- In the Reolink app, open the camera and tap the settings icon at the top right.
- Tap More Features, Advanced Network Settings, then Server Settings, and turn on both RTSP and ONVIF.
Choosing a resolution
The stream URL stays the same whichever resolution you pick.
- In the Reolink app, open the camera and tap the settings icon at the top right.
- Tap Display, then Stream, then Clear, then Resolution.
Choosing a codec
The camera can encode H.264 or H.265, picked in the same Clear stream
settings as the resolution above. The h264 in the stream path is cosmetic:
the camera answers on both h264Preview_01_main and h265Preview_01_main
for whatever codec is chosen.
